Join us for our 12th annual event, with all races in the vineyards near the historic Souverain Winery! Experience the unparalleled scenic beauty of northern Sonoma County’s wine country as you run on packed, groomed dirt roads through vineyards resplendent in their fall colors in Barrelli Creek Vineyard. (As these are real, working vineyards, conditions are subject to change and may require some running on quiet asphalt back roads.)

Though the event is less than 90 miles north of San Francisco and just 15 minutes north of Healdsburg, our natural beauty and small-town charm will feel like another world. We invite you to come spend the entire weekend as you Run The Wine Country with us!

In addition to the beautiful vineyard course,
the event features top-notch amenities including:

• Tech Shirt — Featuring the colorful race logo for all participants
• Custom Finisher’s Medal — For all finishers of each race
• Logo Wine Glass — Free to all half marathon participants
(glasses available for $7 to all runners)
• Gallo wine and local beer free to all participants (proof of age will be required)
• Hearty Brunch — Free to all runners, and just $7.00 for guests
• Live Music
• Awards — Top 3 finishers male/female in each race will receive a Wine Country/Vineyard Races themed baskets.
• Half Marathon 1st place age winners will receive a bottle of wine from one of the Gallo Family Wineries

All proceeds support the charitable programs of the Kiwanis Club of Cloverdale Foundation, including fully funding the Cloverdale Chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, bringing the gift of reading to the children of Cloverdale.

The Course

Get off of the asphalt and onto the dirt! All distances will be run as much as possible on packed, groomed vineyard roads at Barrelli Creek Vineyard. (As these are real, working vineyards, conditions are subject to change and may require some running on quiet asphalt back roads.) Don’t just visit wine country – immerse yourself in it! As the sun rises on race day, you’ll head out into the beautiful Alexander Valley. With a mixture of flats and gently rolling hills, the course will take you amongst vineyards resplendent in fall colors, with views of the Russian River valley.
